Hey, guess what? It’s time to increase your daily meditation practice by three minutes. Three minutes may not seem like a lot, but it is a great way to incrementally establish your daily meditation. If you’ve been struggling to start your practice, find one minute to meditate each day. Then when you are ready, slowly increase it by three minutes. If you are already meditating, just add three minutes to what you are already doing, and notice the results.

For mindful eating to take hold, you will need a regular meditation practice. Research on MB-EAT (Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training) tells us that the more a person meditates, the better his or her results. So, go for the extra three minutes and see what happens.
