If you would like to learn mindful eating, here are three keys you can practice:
Key One: Meditation. Practice meditating 5 to 10 minutes a day to start shifting your body from a state of stress to a straight of calm.
Key Two: Inner Knowledge. Learn your body’s cues for hunger, fullness and satisfaction. As you tune in to those cues you will naturally eat the amount of food that is right for you.
Key Three: Outer Guidance. Inform your mindful eating choices with both feedback from your body about how responds to certain foods work and input from reliable nutritional and health resources. Use this information to guide you as to those options that might be best for you.
Practice these keys consistently, and you’ll change how you eat and what your body looks like.
