As joyful as this time of year may be, it is also filled with stress, anger, fatigue, disappointment and pain. It is a season when it is easy to forgo self-care and when good intentions to meditate and eat mindfully fall out of awareness. My gift to you this holiday season is to help you remember. Remember to make time for yourself amid all the hullabaloo. Remember to breathe as you hurry and scamper about. Remember to express gratitude as you juggle parties, tree trimming and gift wrapping. Remember to stop and take time to experience the season with all your senses – smell the pine of Christmas trees, see the flicker of Menorah candles, hear the holiday music, and feel the cool, crisp winter air on your face. And, most of all, remember to appreciate those who are more important to you than anyone or anything else. In whatever way you celebrate this season, I wish you peace, love and happiness. Happy Holidays to you all! What will you remember? Please write your comments below.
