Changing habits is hard. Hopefully having me along is helping you. Yesterday I suggested you gather some friends together and form a book club to read mindfulness and mindful eating books together. One reason I made that recommendation is that community helps facilitate change. Especially a community of like-minded people. If you have been traveling this mindful eating journey alone, think about inviting someone to join you. If you don’t want to do that, find a meditation group or mindfulness classes and connect with people there. Explore groups for ideas. You can also join my community through my newsletter and social media venues. However, you choose to go about it, find like-minded people to share your journey. You will get support, knowledge and insight you can’t get on your own. Adapted from Mindful Bites – Joyful Life: 365 Days of Mindful Eating. Available in bookstores everywhere.
