A wonderful part of mindful eating is that you can now choose to eat foods you truly enjoy. No more eating something just because the diet/doctor/program says you should. Now you get to decide.
Pick a food you want to eat and bring the food into your home with the promise that you will eat it mindfully to assess whether you truly love it or not. If the food you bring into your home feels like it might trigger a binge, it is too soon for this activity. Instead, choose to eat that food outside the home and test it. Bring it home at a later date when you’ve got more mindful eating under your belt.
