As a mindful eater, you will have many opportunities to dine out.  When you are with others, you have two choices: tell them you are a mindful eater, or don’t tell them. If you choose to tell them, explain that mindful eating is eating with awareness of both the food and your body. By paying attention, you have learned to value quality over quantity and as a result you are eating less and enjoying your food more. If you choose not to say anything, that’s fine too. Just check in with yourself, order what you want, savor your food and stop when you are full. Enjoy!
