People frequently ask me, how long will it take to become a mindful eater? My response is this: as soon as you take your first bite of food with awareness, you are mindful eater. Mindful eating is, for me, a lifestyle. It is a new way of relating to food, your body, and yourself. With each passing day, you will get better and better at it, until it becomes second nature.
