So, don’t. Mindful eating is a choice. You can choose not to do it. However, if you do so with awareness and choice, you are making a mindful decision. And remember, mindful eating is not about perfection, it’s about progress. It’s about persistence. It’s about consistency. You are going not to be perfect at this, so don’t even try! But what I do strongly encourage is persistent effort. In other words, that you mindfully eat more often than you don’t. It’s what you do most of the time that matters most.
