I’ve got good news, and I’ve got bad news! The good news is that with mindful eating, no food is off limits (medical restrictions notwithstanding.) The bad news is that once you really taste food, you may discover that foods that you ate a lot of before are no longer favorites. Or, foods that you denied yourself and then binged on also don’t taste so good. Oh no! You finally have “permission” to eat what you want, and you don’t want it!

No worries. It’s very likely that new favorites will emerge and then even more newer favorites. That’s part of the joy and process of mindful eating.

Are any of your formerly-favorite foods no longer “on the list?”
