Many people don’t remember what they eat from day to day unless they are either following a diet plan or they keep a food diary.
People seek me out to lose weight and lose it now! I explain that using a non–diet approach takes longer, but has the potential for better-lasting results.
As a mindful eater, I pay attention to the nutritional value of the food I eat. In my TAME programs, we call that using Outer Guidance. Now I eat foods after I have checked in with myself to be sure that they are the right food, in the right amount, at the right time for me.
Being mindful and developing Inner Wisdom is, in part, knowing how certain foods, certain amounts, and certain combinations affect you. Foods you may think you love may not love you back.
