Inner Wisdom is your body’s way of communicating hunger, thirst, fullness, taste, satiety, and satisfaction. By learning your body’s signals, you will be able to eat when you are hungry, stop when you are full.
If mindful eating is about awareness, then mindful hunger is about being aware of your hunger. It’s about noticing when you are hungry.
You know you’re hungry but you’re not sure what you’re hungry for. What I do to solve this dilemma is to imagine different foods.
Sometimes when you think you are hungr,y you may actually be thirsty. If you are not sure, drink a tall, cool glass of fresh spring water, and see what affect it has on your hunger.
