By giving thanks, we become more aware of the food we are about to eat. When we are aware, we taste more, get more satisfaction, and often eat less. Let the feelings of gratitude fill you up, and then notice if feeling grateful affects your eating.

Look at the photograph and ask yourself, (1) does this food look appetizing (2) is this food that I genuinely want to eat or is it something that I’m eating because it’s available or prescribed, and (3) would I be happy sharing this photograph with someone else?
