Today we are going to add movement to your routine. Not exercise for weight loss but rather mindful movement where you are in touch with your body and its grace.  You can use yoga as a way to add mindful movement. If you already have a yoga practice, enjoy a session today. If you do not currently practice yoga, you might want to consider trying it. Many yoga studios offer a free introductory lesson. Check it out. Or, you can find some videos online and see if you like it. If yoga is not your thing, then you can try walking or dance. Any activity can be done mindfully if it is done with intention and focus. Do whatever activity you choose slowly and deliberately. Feel your body move in space. Notice how it feels when it touches a surface. Be present in your body and enjoy its wonders. Adapted from Mindful Bites – Joyful Life: 365 Days of Mindful Eating. Available in bookstores everywhere.
